Finding the right decorations and accessories for a Bachelorette party (or ‘Hens Do’ as we call them here) can be somewhat of a challenge. Sure you can find tons of cheap bachelorette-themed stuff at bargain stores but if you’re after something a little different and hum, ‘classier’ than a plastic penis crown then your choices are pretty limited there.
That’s why I really like the idea of making your own Bachelorette party decorations instead. Not only do you end up with much more personalized and unique party items but it’s also a great way to get all the bridesmaids together and have a bonding craft session! Two parties instead of one? Yes please!
Here are 12 DIY ideas for a memorable Bachelorette party:
♥ DIY Balloon Wishes For The Bride-To-Be
This is my favorite kind of DIY – super cute but also super easy to do! It also doubles as a fun activity as every guest gets to write a personalized message for the bride on a balloon.

♥ Big Fringe Garlands
These crepe garlands are pretty amazing and they’d make for a great photo-booth or food buffet backdrop. You could also vary the colors to suit the bride’s taste.

♥ DIY Paper Flower Wall
I pretty much love everything about this party set up but the flower wall is what really takes it to the next level I think. It’s so pretty I’ve been thinking of creating a flower paper wall in my bedroom!

♥ Bachelorette Party Cookies
I can’t think of a sweeter way to set the party agenda for the night…Obviously you could make the cookies in more naughty shapes if you were so inclined. I won’t judge.
♥ Bachelorette Sash
This DIY requires some basic sewing skills but the end result is definitely worth the extra work! I also like the creator’s idea of passing the sash down from bride to bride in your circle of friends. Very ‘sisterhood of the traveling pants’.

♥ Lipstick Pinata
Is there anything that screams ‘party’ more than a pinata? I think not.

Yes, we all know that the best way to avoid a hangover is to not drink much on the night…but let’s face it we’re only humans so these hangover kits make for a nice back up. ;)
