Last week I decided to conduct a short survey to get a better idea of how YOU my lovely readers felt about Pretty Mayhem and what you wanted to see more of in the future. The response was amazing and I couldn’t thank you all enough for taking the time to answer my (annoying?) questions and for making some awesome suggestions as well. You may have noticed I’ve already started making a few changes around here and you might see a few new things popping up in the coming days too!
I’ve also devised a whole new set of features which I hope you’ll enjoy. I know I’m excited about them!
♥ Cocktails & Chats – This is the closest you’re gonna get to ranting with your girlfriends over a glass of wine. Send me a question (or a mini rant) at firstname.lastname@example.org outlining an issue you’ve recently been struggling with (it can be anything from relationships to dealing with difficult bosses, friends, etc) and a couple of awesome ladies and myself will do our best to provide you with some perspective and advice. Just a warning though, this isn’t Dr Phil but rather more of a Sex and the city-come-tipsy-Oprah project! Crazy advice and tactics are totally on the cards…
♥ Travel Guides – In this new series I’ll be providing you with mini guides to some of my favorite cities in the world. Of course, a strong focus will be put on shopping, drinking and eating. Cause’ you know, I’m a girl….
♥ Pretty Outings– A few of you asked for more culture and review type articles so of course ‘what my readers want, my readers get’! From now on, I’ll include reviews for restaurants, art shows, places of interests etc.
♥ Pretty in the City – I wanted to include a bit more Fashion on the blog and since I know many of you are real life fashionistas I wanted to create a monthly feature where you could all strut your stuff. Please send me your pics at email@example.com.
♥ The Lazy Gourmet – I realize that cooking and hosting parties can sometimes seem a bit too time consuming or too complicated for stylish babes. With this in mind, I’ll be focusing my next food articles on easy-to-apply tips and on super easy recipes that won’t take you too much time and effort. In fact the whole blog will pretty much be focused around that philosophy!
Also, I’m looking for fabulous bloggers to take part in these new features (especially in regards to ‘a wine and a whine’ and ‘your style, your way’) so email me if you’d like to participate!
Sending you mountains of virtual thank yous, Champagne and Macarons,
