Postcards From Lyon – June 2015

Before leaving France and heading back home, I decided to make a quick detour via Lyon. Lyon has always been one of my favorite French cities and since a few of my friends live there now I couldn’t resist the opportunity to pay them a quick visit. And I’m so glad I did!

Not only was I super lucky to have somewhere to stay but I also got to experience the city like a true local thanks to my lovely friends. Between visiting the old town, a local farmers market, and sampling some wonderful cuisine lyonnaise, along the way, the whole weekend ended up being a real treat.

I also got a lot of walking done during those three days which was an added bonus as all this French food definitely called for a work out ;)
