Postcards From Western Australia (Part 2)

After we spent a couple of days in Perth, our friends (who were the best hosts ever) took us to the Margaret River region, which is about a 3 hour drive south of the city. Margaret River is famous for its beautiful coastline and surfing beaches but also for its award-winning wineries which I was very excited to discover.

The rainy weather didn’t quite agree with our beach plans but we still had an amazing weekend tasting wine, eating delicious food and taking advantage of our rental home’s huge games room.  We also had an epic ‘Pictionary’ battle on our last night which will be forever remembered as ‘the one where the boys totally cheated and pretended to win the game’. Moral of the story – don’t drink and draw folks. Or don’t play a game you don’t know the rules to. Whatever.
