Happy Sunday!

How is your weekend going? I spent yesterday scoping out new neighborhoods with my Honey (we’re potentially looking for a new, bigger place) and today I attended a ‘Sound of Music’ themed high tea which was the perfect remedy to this cold, rainy weather we’re having.

I also spent the last few days working on the design of my upcoming e-book and it’s coming along nicely if albeit slowly. Who knew that designing a book was even harder than writing one? (designers, that’s who). Anyway, I’m hoping to release it on the blog around the 10th of May so stay tuned for a sneak peek post in the next couple of weeks :)

In the meantime, here are some great links I found on the internet this week:

♥ These homemade watercolor cookies would make a great mother’s day gift.

♥ 7 ways to wear a cape dress. So many gorgeous looks!

♥ I’d happily cook in this Parisian kitchen every day of the week.

♥ How to get a good night’s sleep.

♥ Looking for new vegetarian recipes to try? How about making fried green tomato salad, curried carrot salad, or spelt ricotta gnocchi?

♥ 7 tips to successfully navigate a bustling Asian city.

♥ I love these cute ‘flower ladies‘ illustrations by Emily Isabella. Also, check out this gorgeous DIY flower chandelier!

♥ This made me smile – 8 Australian myths busted. I can confirm that we definitely do not ride kangaroos to work.

♥ I’m totally making this DIY Guess Who board game.

  • I recently bought some nice clothes off and it’s was pretty cheap, pretty good quality and came within 4 days all the way from London! I also am dreaming of a cute Parisian kitchen and super excited to see your ebook! yay! x
